The Assembly of God Church school, Park street also known as AGS or AG school was established on 20th January 1964 by late Rev (Dr.) D. Mark Buntain with 230 students and 16 teachers at that time. The inauguration was done by James Elloy, who was Deputy Secretary of Education at that time.
AG school is one of the co-ed school of Kolkata with high standard of all round education. Though the motto of the school is high quality of education under Christian leadership, but it serves children of all community.
The Assembly of God church school or AG church school is affiliated to ICSE board. Streams available in AG church school in plus two are Science, commerce and humanities.

Assembly of God church school or AG school starts from 7.50 AM to 1.30 PM for junior section that is nursery to class 6th and from 8.10 AM to 2.30 PM for class 7th to class 12th.
Infrastructure of The Assembly of God Church school
Assembly of God church school is divided in two places one for junior section at Royd street and other for senior section at Park street, though both are very near to each other. The school building is huge five storey with all modern education facilities including a well capacitated auditorium or hall, large spread play ground where outdoor sports like cricket, football are played. There is well equipped gymnasium hall and an indoor basket ball court. Other sports facilities at AG church school include table tennis, tennis and hockey. AG church school also have a well maintained school clinic for junior section.
Extra curricular activities in Assembly of God church School
Assembly of God church school has an established reputation in terms of academics; apart from that AG church school provide healthy platform for various extracurricular activities to make their students multiskilled. There are special computer classes and workshops. For personality development and social interaction there are various clubs like bible club for developing Christianity and bible ethics, cookery clubs for developing kitchen skills, science club, computer club to compete with technical developments, needle work, crafts, etc are being organized at AG church school.
AG church school is rich in sports and games and there is training in cricket, basketball, hockey, table tennis, darts, football as well as gymnastics.
All forms of music and dance activities are held at Assembly of God church school and there is a dance club, club for eastern dance, western dance club, dramatic club etc and various musical instruments are also taught including classical and western.
Assembly of God church school also teaches their students to love and care nature and to have a caring attitude towards weaker section, there are clubs like nature club and do you care club for that. NCC is also at AG church school.
Motto of Assembly of God church school is building a better India by building better boys and girls.
Board result of Assembly of God Church school
Board result of AG church school has been remarkably better for last several years. In 2009, 180 students appeared for 10th board and passing percent was 100% with 23 students scoring more than 90%. Similarly 278 students appeared for Higher secondary exam that is class 12th in Assembly of God church school and all of them passed and 52 students scored above 90%.
