From the result of last lok sabha and the current civic poll it is clear like the day light that people of Bengal are looking for a change. I think even the leaders of left front know their fate in the coming assembly election. Few left front leaders, specially C.P.M leaders are still trying for damage control.
During the long regime, left front really performed good at the initial stage, first 10 to 15 years. Land reformation was done during that time.
Left front has done a lot for poor cultivators. At that time CPM leaders had a mission, they sacrificed a lot for the up liftment of the poor.
In industry they have failed miserably. Their trade union culture is responsible for current poor situation of industry in Bengal.
Too much experiment in education yield was not desired.
The main points for their down fall are
1. Corruption in every level starting from local area to office, educational institute, colleges.
2. Their arrogance in every level.
3. Cadre culture and harassment to common people.
