For sending this poll to forum, In the history of Bengali Cinema nobody can take the place of Uttamkumar, if you want to compare, You can take only one name, that is Soumitra Chattapadhay , but his way was different, Uttamkumar is complete pack.
In present the Bengali Cinema has come out in a good position, but has lost creativity.

Uttam Kumar is the legend of Bengal Cinema and he is familiar face to all the non bengalis too. I think legends has no parallel and they cannot be competed or equaled.
