Personal Comment :- (Requesting not to take Personally)
West Bengal politics had a typical triangular feature particularly over last decade or so. Mamata Banarjee's bitter opposition to communists led her to spill away from congress because it could not distance totally from Leftists, because of Anti-BJP politics at the centre. But, the left front withdrew from UPA as protest against nuclear deal with USA. The Congress Government however survived and later came into power. Thus Congress is no more in dilemma and hence could unequivocally come against left along with Mamata Banerjee. This coupled with post-Nandigram unhappiness among the voters has resulted in today's results and the coming assembly elections could well signal end of 33 yr Red Regime in West Bengal.

The author mentioned and I quote "her degrees in “Work Education” from ‘Basanti Devi College’"

As per my knowledge Basanti Devi College only teaches subjects approved by Calcutta University

and there is no degree in “Work Education” from Calcutta University.

So how come Mamata didi obtained her degrees in "Work Education"

please elaborate otherwise this information can cause great misconceptions
