Biography of RAHUL BOSE:-


Rupen Bose and Kumud Bose – Parents of Rahul Bose, who born and spent his childhood in Kolkata and then shifted to Mumbai with his family. Rahul Bose completed his school education from ‘John Connon School’ and graduated from ‘Sydneham College’ of Mumbai. Acting in Theaters, Boxing and Rugby – these are his most favourite hobbies ever. Rahul Bose played International Rugby under the ‘National Orange Team of India’.

To become a successful Actor, Writer and Director of Film-Industry, Rahul Bose left his Creative Director job at Rediffusion. Rahul has stepped in to his acting career whn he was only 6-Years old. His first english film ‘August’ became a popular one and rom then no looking back situation for Rahul Bose. “Jhankaar Beats”, “Mr. And Mrs. Iyer” – are some other notable movies of him. He won the Best Actor award in ‘Singapore Film Festival 2000’ for the movie “Split Wide Open”.

Not only in Films, Rahul Bose assisted in the relief-camp in Andaman-Nicobar after ‘Tsunami’ disaster in the year 2004. Then after through his NGO, Rahul Bose has started the Andaman & Nicobar Scholarship for the people of these region to provide for the education of under-privileged children & Students. Rahul Bose also attached with other Charities like ‘Akshara Centre, Breakthrough and Spastics’.

The most auspicious acheivement for Rahul Bose was when he became the 1st Indian to be selected as “Oxham Global Ambassador”, in the year 2007. Rahul Bose is also an ambassador for both the “World Youth Peace Movement” and the “American India Foundation”.

Rahul Bose is proud of Bengal, he has acted in all three languages (English, Hindi and Bengali) and in every aspect of movies whether it is Hollywood, Bollywood or Tollywood, he touches the extreame by his acting.
