Mamata Banerjee is one of the most famous and influential people in the whole of West Bengal as her popularity grows people say it may be the end of the 25 year rule of CPI(M) over West Bengal may end after this election.
Mamata Banerjee is the founder of the Trinamool Congress and also the current Railway Minister. Mamata Banerjee is also one of the main allies of the Congress. Mamata Banerjee had completed her M.A. from the Calcutta University and then did L.L.B. from Jogesh Chandra Law College of Calcutta.
She is one of the best all-rounders ever to born in West Bengal. She knows every type of talent starting from debate, painting, singing and so many more. People say Mamata Banerjee loves writing poem when she is not at work!
During the Period 1976 to 1980, Mamata Banerjee was the General Secretary of Mahila Congress of Indian West Bengal.
In the year 1985, Mamata Banerjee was elected as a member of the Committee on the 'Welfare of Scheduled Castes (SC) & Scheduled Tribes (ST)' in the Lok Sabha.
Mamata Banerjee is always a Fire-Brand leader and always a crucial opposition for the CPI(M) government or known as the Left. Then, Mamata Banerjee decided to find a new party the Trinamool Congress and also then she had allied with the Congress. Mamata Banerjee was elected as the 'Railway Minster in N.D.A. Government' in 1999. When a site called tahelka.com exposed the internal corruption of BJP Party, then Mamata Banerjee decided to leave the party for good and Resigned on her own will from the post of Railway Minister of India.
Mamata Banerjee has helped hundreds of thousands of people living in West Bengal by lending a helping hand from the party and also giving justice in places where there is no! Farmer's lands are taken against the will of the Farmer with muscle power by the local government sometimes, this where the party steps in and demands justice for the farmers. Mamata Banerjee in her whole political career made only one big mistake which the villagers and the citizens consider a very big mistake. The mistake she made was-turning out Ratan Tata from setting up a car plant in Singur for the manufacture of Nano the world's cheapest car. Villagers claim that they were getting medical assistance as the company was making the plant and many unemployed Villagers were getting jobs in the company. Still, Mamata Banerjee is trying to make up to the villagers for this with her party as the best she can.
Now one of the most interesting questions: - Who will be the new Chief Minister of West Bengal? Will the CPI(M) rule continue or stop?
