Mandarmani which is only 200 km away from esplanade is one of the untouched/ virgin seashore.
Route Direction to Mandarmani from Kolkata:
Road: from Esplanade - kona expressway- mumbairoad- kolaghat bridge-left turn from next bifurcation below a bridge-mecheda-take the Digha road-chowlkhola more-take left turn-reach upto seashore.
Train: Kandari express/ Tamralipta express-Digha Stn-cab/bus to Chowlkhola-take rt turn-reach seashore.
stay at mandermoni:lots of resorts(so called).
Best one is Rosevalley resort and Sana Beach resort.
Rosevalley Resort:
Advantage: positioned just on the beach.
spacious rooms.
23 hrs generator survice.
good quality food.
inhouse boating/pool/games/garden.
disadvantage: costly.
rush in weekend mandates prior booking.
Sana beach Resort:
Advantage:sorrounded by green jhow tree.
silence of the sea.
good food.
service good.
in house games/disco/ DJ nights on request.
Disadvantage: far far away from entry point of mandermoni.
you may not like silence sometime.
DJ nights sometime becomes headache.

Important tips for Mandarmani visit:take sun glass/sunscreen.
do not go for cheap hotels as no electricity is there and hotels depends upon generators - 2 resorts keeps promises but others do not.
do not ask for DJ nights - very boring.
