Strength of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)

T20 is a game of all rounders and team Kolkata Knight Riders have some handy all rounders who can bowl at times along with some handy batting. Laxmi ratan Shukla, Brad Hodge, Chris gayle, Sourav Ganguly and David Hussey can fill the place who can contribute with both ball and bat effectively. New addition ngelo Mathews of Sri lanka showed a great temprament in recent series versus India and is in full form.

Dave Whatmore had worked hard in fielding department and Wasim Akram in bowling department.

Weakness of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)

Bowling is the main concern for team Kolkata Knight Riders, though bowling coach of Kolkata Knight Riders Wasim Akram worked hard, but the team lack quality bowlers. Ishant Sharma is the lone fast bowler to whom team can rely but at times he too loses rhythm. Charls Langeveldt can be effective but limitation of only four foriegn players may not give him a place in final 11 of KKR. New introduction of Shane Bond may be helpful but this means either David Hussey or Brad Hodge may have to sit back. Though in slog neither Shane Bond nor Ishant Sharma or Ashok Dinda have the capacity to apply a break in scoring of opposition.

Fielding is another great concern. Dave Whatmore worked to bring players of KKR in shape. But the expected final 11 of team KKR are not as quick on the field as required for T 20 format of games.
