I'm reading bibhutibhushan's panther panchali.i've realised that a huge body of brilliant thoughts and philosophy was hitherto hidden from my realm of consciousness.his lyricism, his philosophical moorings, his poetic description of human imaginations -its comparable to the greatest works of tolstoy and turgenyv.every line i read,i want to read it aloud.the songs of human happiness and joy,are immortal.i never knew bengali literature is transcedental but once i've realised i'm going to read the entire body of bengali parchments for the next one year.
