Admission in Para Medical Courses in West Bengal

West Bengal Government's State Medical Faculty announced the admission for Para Medical courses.

Admission is going on Diploma Courses of 10 paramedical courses in State Medical Faculty of West Bengalaffiliated 11 government medical colleges and hospitals and 15 approved Private Medical Colleges and teaching institutions. All courses are of two-year duration.

The Paramedical Courses are:

Diploma in Critical Care Technology
Diploma in Perfusion Technology
Diploma in Neuro-Electro-Physiology
Diploma in Cath-Lab Technician
Diploma in Optometry (along with Ophthalmic)
Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology
Diploma in Radiography (Diagnostic)
Diploma in Radiotherapeutic Technology
Diploma in Physiotherapy
Diploma in Dialysis Technique
Diploma in E.C.G Bridge Course

Eligibility - Must passed 10+2 or Higher secondary Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology combination (Except for E.C.G. course). For E.C.G. course one should pass Certificate in E.C.G. course. Age must be at least 17 years or more calculating up to 1st September, 2010.

Total Number of Seats – 721 (Among these seats, some seats are also reserved for Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe)

Forms are available from 24th May, 2010 to 8th July, 2010 within 10 am to 2pm on any working days. Forms are available in Government Medical Colleges and Hospitals. Forms are also available in Private Medical Colleges and teaching institutions from 7th June, 2010 to 8th July, 2010. Cost of the form is Rs 300. One should pay this amount through Demand Draft, in favour of 'State Medical Faculty of West Bengal'' and payable at 'Kolkata'.

One should apply for only one course with only one application form. Filled-up form should reach within 5 pm of 9th July, 2010 in this address mention below -
