English Typists' (Basic Grade) Recruitment Examination 2010

Applications are invited from Indian Citizens or such other nationalities as are declared eligible by the Government of India for the English Typists' (Basic Grade) Recruitment Examination 2010 to be conducted by the Public Service Commission, West Bengal for recruitment to the vacant posts of English Typists in the West Bengal Secretariats, Directorates and in the Government Offices of the districts under the rule making power of the Government of West Bengal.

All appointments will initially be made on a temporary basis. The English Typists' (Basic Grade) Recruitment Examination 2010 shall be held in two successive stages viz. (1) Preliminary Examination (Objective Types) and (2) Main Examination (Type Test).

Qualification:
a) Madhyamik Examination of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.
b) Basic Knowledge of Computer Operation certificate from recognized institute.
c) 30 wpm typing speed
d) Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali.
e) Age not less than 18 and more than 37

Candidates must enclose with their Application a fee of Rs.110/- only by Indian Postal Order, which must be purchased on a date after 24-July-2010 and crossed and endorsed to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal or by a receipted challan from a Govt. Treasury in West Bengal of the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata under the head '0051-00-105-State PSC Examination fees-001-Examination fees-16 other fees'.
