Story of the film Kogojer Bou
Utpal is the main character of this film Kogojer Bou and every thing revolves around Utpal. He is educated but not employed. Utpal desperately needs a job for money. This film narrates how the unemployed youth is utilized in our society.
Utpal comes in contact with a rich businessman Subimal and from then utilization of Utpal started. Subimal loves a young girl Preeti and wants to come closer. Subimal engage Utpal to manage the matter of bringing Preeti closer to him. He paid Utpal to do it. Preeti is in love with another man. However Utpal succeeds in bringing Preeti closer to Subimal. Subimal needs divorce from his wife Shreya to fulfill his dream and again he utilized Utpal. This part of the film Kagojer Bou is most interesting. Utpal is ready to do any job for money. Utpal falls in love with Shreya.
Accidentally both Subimal-Preeti and Utpal-Shreya meet on a trip to Mondarmoni and Preeti comes to know the entire story. Preeti offers Upal to marry her and promises payment and taking him to the United States if he accepts her offer. Utpal agrees but just after marriage Preeti divorces him and goes away to the U.S. This time Utpal is utilized by Preeti.
Paoli Dam as Preeti is fantastic in this film. This actress will dominate the Bengal film industry one day.
Bratya Basu appears in a guest appearance as a fisherman in this film Kagojer Bou. This eminent theatre personality of West Bengal has once again proved that he can equally deliver a lot good works to Bengal film industry.
Gaurab Chottopadhyay, son of Gautam Chottopadhyay makes his debut as a music director with this film Kagojer Bou.
