Match Number 1 - February 19, India defeated Bangladesh by 87 runs in the opening match of ICC World Cup 2011 at Shere Bangla Stadium, Bangladesh. India scored 370 for 4 while Bangladesh scored 289 for 9 in 50 overs.
Indian batsman Virender Sehwag scored 175 and this is the first century in this ICC World Cup 2011. Virat Kohli was not out at 100.

Match Number 2 - February 20: Sri Lanka crushed Canada at the Mahinda Rajapaksha International Cricket Stadium by 210 runs win. Sri Lanka scored 332 for 7 while Canada were all out for 122 with 13.1 overs to spare.
Jaywardene of Sri Lanka scored 100 in just 81 balls and Sri Lankan skipper Kumar Sangakkara contributed 92 runs in 87 balls. Muttiah Muralitharan took 2 wickets of Canada for 38 runs in nine overs.
Match Number 3 - February 20: New Zealand became the first team in this ICC World Cup 2011 to beat the opponent by 10 wickets.
Kenya scored just 69 runs and New Zealand crossed the score without loosing any wicket.
New Zealand's Jacob Oram took 3 wickets for 2 runs.
Match No. 4 of the ICC World Cup 2011 played on 21 February. Australia wins in this Australia vs. Zimbabwe match at the Sardar Patel Gujarat Stadium, Motera, and Ahmedabad by 91 runs. Australia batted first and scored 262 for 6 in 50 overs. Zimbabwe was all out for just 171 runs in 46.2 over.
For Australia team, S R Watson scored 79 and Michael Clarke was not out at the end of the game with 58 individual score.
