Howrah is known as the sister of Kolkata. The city Howrah is located in the Howrah district in West Bengal. Howrah has many industries and is famous for the industries and different offices as well as the important railway station present there. Howrah is situated in the West bank of the ricer Hooghly where as Kollata is there in the eastern bank. Howrah is connected with Kolkata by Howrah Bridge.

The airport is well connected with cities like New Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Pune, Goa and Imphal. It is also connected with Dhaka, Singapore, Frankfurt, Bangkok, Dubai, Yangon, Kuala Lumpur and Paro. From the airport one can hire taxis and can reach to Howrah city.
