Before caste your vote you must observe that when a voter goes inside to cast vote on that time the control unit which is placed beside of presiding officer display a red light which means busy and some one is inside the booth for caste vote.If you have voter identity card then you must bring it. If no Epic card or voter card is issue for you then you can take any one of the following for caste your vote which is declared by election commission.

When you enter to caste vote you can see a green light display on the voting machine as well as control unit also display red light. After observing these two things you ensure that your voting machine is ok. Then you look on voting key which is blue in color. press any blue button after seeing your candidates name and symbol which is placed at the left side of the blue button. After pressing blue button you hear a beep sound continue near about two second from the control unit and when it stop you ensure that you caste your vote properly and then leave the booth. Otherwise you must ask the presiding officer and say to about your problem.

If you have voter identity card then you must bring it. If no Epic card or voter card is issue for you then you can take any one of the following for caste your vote which is declared by election commission.
1) passport 2) driving licence 3) pan card 4) Identity card of any government/government undertaking employee issued by any state or central government office. 5)any bank/post office pass book with photo issued before 28th February 2011. 6) Any Scheduled caste/tribe/OBC certificate issued before 28th February 2011. 7) Any pension holder card from any government employee issued before 28th February 2011. 8)photo identity card of any freedom fighter. 9)armed licence issued before 28th February 2011. 10)physical handicraft certificate issued before 28th February 2011. 11)smart card for health given by government issued before 28th February 2011.12) any land revenue or register paper with photo 13) NREGA job card under national village scheme issued before 28th February 2011.
