KKR winning parade to Eden garden - Highlights and glimpse

Kolkata Knight Riders owner Shahrukh Khan along with entire team underwent a winning parade to Eden Garden where they were felicitated by Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. See the highlights and glimpse and photos of this great moment.

After struggling for four years, finally this time the slogan Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo came into reality and KKR emerged as Champion in DLF IPL 2012 beating former and two times champion CSK at their own den. The whole team were highly excited as a winning parade was organized today at Kolkata and winning fwstival was to be celebrated at Eden garden. Traffic of Kolkata was almost stuck at the areas where the team crossed right from airport to Eden Garden. However no foreign players were in the processing.

As Shahrukh Khan promised that after winning he will bring the cup to West Bengal,s present CM Mamata Banerjee and he fulfilled the same. There were a huge gathering and the wherever the team crossed there were huge crowd on the road.

Highlights of winning rally of Kolkata Knight Riders

The team gathered at Eden Garden, there was a mega sized cake which was cut by Shahrukh, Juhi and Gambhir, Mamata Banerjee herself was very much thrilled and so was the entire team and the huge crowd at Eden Garden. Apart from players there were many celebrities from tollywood who were present there namely Bengali actor Jeet, actress Rituparna Sengupta, politician and mayor Shovan Chaterjee and many more.

Mamata Banerjee awarded 18 players with a golden chain. As per sources nearly 45 lakhs were spend on this occasion. On asking about this expense, Mamata Banerjee cleared that this expenditure was done by CAB (cricket Association of Bengal) and Kolkata Municipal Corporation and there was not a single penny from Government side.
