43000 primary teachers will be recruited in west Bengal this year through Primary Teachers recruitment examination 2012. This decision finalized after the meeting held among the school secretaries, president of primary teachers association, and president of higher secondary education council and education minister of West Bengal government Bratya Basu. The education minister assured that primary teacher recruitment policy is final and the final advertisement of primary teacher recruitment 2012 will be published in the month of September 2012.
Total vacancy in West Bengal Primary Teacher recruitment 2012
In 2008 left front government arrange recruitment in West Bengal Primary teaching posts. From 2009 to 2011 the total number of vacancy for West Bengal primary teacher is 38000. This year 5000 new post will be add and total number of vacancy will be 43000 approx. This is mainly because of the teacher student ratio mention in the Right to Education Act of India Government.

Written examination marks will be calculated for 40 mark ratio. There will be 10 marks for interview. Academic scores and primary teacher training score marks will be distributed as below:
Madhyamik examination number: 10 Marks
Higher Secondary Examination number: 15 Marks
Extra curricular activity: 5 Marks
Primary Teacher Training: 20 Marks

West Bengal Primary TET exam date is not publish yet. When the date will fixed, the authority will send the notification to all the candidates by newspaper advertise.
The examination may be held on 23rd December, 2013. But this is not the fixed date.
